Skiing, boarding....sledging, theyre all the same to me :-)

My first thoughts were Chamonix because of the short transfer from Geneva and its access to some high snow....and a late afternoon beer in village with the sun on your face, i'm sold on that!!

Thank you

Hi all,
I've just been given a week off work from 21st of April, i want to go boarding rather than sit on a beach or sofa for a week so looking for advice. I can get cheap flights to geneva an plan to hire a car if i have to. I've been looking at Chamonix, Tignes and Val Thorens but cant decide which, if any would be suitable. I know its late and i know its probably gonna be warm but ill be more than happy with a morning on the snow..

Cheers..

A total of 19kg overweight, or in essence £190 worth of excess baggage.

He doesn't say he got away with it, just says he didn't have his hand luggage weighed, if he got away with that amount I too would be

smiley's not working again

i cetainly got away with it , the lovely lady even stuck a 'heavy' sticker on each bag...and she checked us into the seats with extra leg room...must have been my winning smile!!

to be fair though some of the other lads were underweight on the baggage front an i would have been prepared to argue my case that they people before and after in the queue were rather large and presumably weighed a hell of a lot more than my excess...but thats another debate

Who wears a helmet?

I bought a helmet this winter after years of the bobble...i bought it after watching a mate crack his head open after a nasty collision.. anyway, i was surprised at how comfy it was, proper light weight...i got cracked a few times by idiots swinging their skis on their shoulders so it prob saved a few cuts an bruises....best £38 ive ever spent!!
