It's actually not a bad program. The female Canadian presenter is sickingly good at skiing but then I think she used to part of the Canadian Alping team - I'll let her off!

Skiers World on the Travel Channel did a feature on Grindelwald the other day. When I get home I'll check to see if it's due to be shown again.

Quite like the idea of buggering off somewhere (France?) to take a week(?) intensive course.

Bugger off to Austria then! The ski schools tend to run for more hours in the day than in France so if you're after some intensive learning then there will be your best bet.

Oh and I had a ski vice too! The girlfriend got some Nastify Pink Shred goggles. Very jealous!

Intensive beginner lessons Started by User in Ski Chatter, 5 Replies
Quite like the idea of buggering off somewhere (France?) to take a week(?) intensive course. Bugger off to Austria then! The ski schools tend to run for more hours in the day than in France so if you're after some intensive learning then there will be your best bet.
