To be fair though Andy 2007 was a rubbish season. My nephew's done 3 seasons working in Morzine and loves the place, we visited him there in April 2010 and he was still skiing - although the jump in the garden had melted! Have a great time.. |

Glenncz,
Liked the sound of the book until you gave the story away! And funnily enough as I was listening to the radio this morning the presenter was saying the Americans are obsessed with 'Kate and all that' Will you be watching?? It's kind of passing me by - It's on the TV and radio here, but nothing like the Charles and Di fever we had in the 80's. Happy to get a bank holiday out of it though. Dids |

Not quite sure what you mean. But perhaps I should clarify what I meant... I have skied in France for a whole week 6 times in April, so in fact around 40 days. Grand Massif 3 weeks Les Saisies 1 week Val Thorens 1 week Puy St Vincent 1 week (with a day in Serre Chevalier) Edit: never in La Clusaz which is where this thread is about.... But I've driven home that way in 2nd week of April and seen the runs back into resort open - so it's not always bad. |

Have skied in April 6 times - never had a problem, with most runs open and good snow cover.
Have always maintained it's a fantastic time to ski - but this season is definitely not good. Worst snow we ever had was February 2007, and we regretted not going at Easter as it snowed later that season. This year we've had to give it a miss and quite relieved as we'd be going this weekend. |

That's 4 weeks away! I think any forecasts (if they existed) would be so long range they'd just be a guess |
