You can hire Skis without boots from SkiSet, no problem.
Go to http://j2ski.skiset.com/. Select the Country, Resort and Rental Date and hit Continue. Then, on the screen where you select the grade of ski you want, there is a checkbox above the picture of each ski; labelled "with boots". Just clear that to remove boots from that pack (and reduce the price, of course). You can hire a mix of packs - with or without boots. |

Hi Nick,
SkiSet have a shop "Snow and Fun" - click Ski Hire in Soll for the j2ski discount (20% off walk-in price + the 7th day free). Might be worth checking the location of the shop in relation to where you're staying - there is a map on the SkiSet site. Sorry, can't help with the passes... yet  Hope that helps... 8) |

Hey Mike, Salski, Bandit... good to see you.
Too many... everything went perfectly right up until the very final cycle of the new server after testing - and then a mis-configured network hid it from us for hours... Best laid plans, etc.
 ...have to ask him if he saw Jan... |

Which trip is this? Looking good for you then... |

Welcome home, Pav - you know where you belong... ) ) |

After a week of something approaching chaos in most of the forecast models, GFS at least is settling down.
Looks like seasonally cold weather for most of this month with all the model runs converging on some good precipitation about a week out. Check the dip in temperature and the spike in precipitation, on almost all models, for the 12th Jan. See the GFS Ensemble here Worth watching this one and checking flight availability if you fancy a long weekend in mid-Jan! |

Jolly good - that's two of the usual suspects...
Pavelski? Trencher? (no excuses, we know the DNS has crossed the Atlantic already) Jan? (note from his Mum says he's too ill and has gone skiing) Ise-man? (expected to be late as he'll be walking up a mountain instead of taking the lift) Bandit? No sniggering at the back... |

Sorry for the delay folks, everything was sorted but our server hosts threw a spanner at the last minute...
Big thanks to Mr.G. (The Stig of Server Management) for an almost seamless transition! Thanks mate. Anyway, here we are - anyone else made it yet? PM me, or e-mail to admin(at)j2ski(dot)com if you have any problems accessing the site. |
