Well, perhaps you weren't far wrong ... :D She's certainly very effective at protecting us all from the Spammers :D I feel quite safe knowing that Bandit is up there defending the J2ski walls against invaders :D Ally |

But Pablo, It's so much nicer when YOU write it, and I would read it for sure then and actually remember some of it. I hope you're not telling me that you can't remember the origin of the Welsh dragon on our flag, after I went to all the trouble of researching it and typing it up  Ally |

Well,
You could give us some background on the flag, the people, the language and the country, like I did with Wales. That should keep you going for a couple of pages, especially when other people chip in with their comments :D Ally |

Dave Mac, I remember AmandaN - she was one of my favourite people on here last season (not surprisingly perhaps!) but I haven't seen her around for ages. It would be nice to win a trophy, I don't think I've ever won one before, and even nicer to 'see' Amanda again :D Dex, Unless you put up a very female looking avatar, you might be better off calling yourself Dex rather than Sam, because we have had quite a lot of confusion over whether certain members were male or female :D :D I really put my foot in it with someone (I can't remember who it was now) because I was convinced they were female and the poor bloke had to explain to me that I'd got it all wrong ... Ally |

Hi Dex/Sam,
I think I am the barmiest one here, but I'm quite harmless :D Welcome to J2Ski, and thanks for posting those lovely photos. Congratulations on converting your husband to ski-ing - did you put it in the marriage contract  Ally |

Thanks Bandit, minus 18 is pretty cold for ski-ing, but at least you had powder and sun, and plenty of snow :D
I don't like anything less than about minus 4 here at home, because the outside water tanks freeze up for the cattle, and the car windscreen freezes up on the inside, and the minor roads like ours are all icy and dangerous because they only grit the main roads. Ally |

Bandit,
Have you been ski-ing today? I'm afraid I can't remember what everyone's doing - I have a memory like a sink now - straight in and out :D |

THAT was a hill? Good heavens, you should come and see some of ours :D We've got one, in our local village, that's got a gradient of 1:5 and you can only get up it in first gear in a car. I was extremely proud the first day I managed to bike all the way up it :D And you should just see what happens during the summer, when the poor holidaymakers have to do a hill start on it  Anyway, I'm glad you had fun. That's what Christmas is all about. Nelly, I'd love to see your little Christmas tree. Just don't let that sheep it! We still haven't got any snow at all. But it's just as well, because when we do get snow it blows off the fields into the roads and it's 20 foot deep in the road, because of our high hedges. Ally |
