Gooseh,
I was in Cambridge (Girton College) at the weekend, and I didn't see any hills anywhere. Where did you manage to find one? I hope the effort was worth it :D When I lived in London we used to go sledging on Hampstead Heath, which was only a couple of miles away. That is a good hill! Ally |

Trencher, I don't know how you manage, at -40 degrees C. I mean, I would have thought there would be loads of minor problems, like car door handles and petrol caps freezing up, the oil in various engines becoming so thick it seized up etc. etc. And in order to walk outside I'd have thought you'd have to be dressed up like an eskimo! Ally |

We had a lovely time there as well. The instructor was great with my little girl, really kind and patient but funny as well, and a fantastic skier.
I'm sure you will have a great holiday :D Ally |

Why doesn't he just stay in a hotel in Heathrow until the snow's gone? Wouldn't that be easier?

You'd better start walking then, Tony, you've got a long way to go :D

Nelly,
We haven't got any snow  But it is all nice and sunny here :D I have done 64 Christmas cards and I'm exhausted. At least I only had to type one to everyone on here :D I have bought the Christmas tree, but not put it up yet, and I've got to get all the other decorations out of the attic as well, and put them up. Christmas is very hard work  Ally |
