Newbie saying Hi! and pics!

Hi i'm Sam, live in Hampshire and am addicted to Skiing (amongst other things)!!

I fist went skiing at 13 years with the folks and have loved it ever since. Have tried to go at least once a year since.
Managed to convince and convert my husband into a ski fanatic also! He'd never skied before he met me!!!

He is actually getting quite good now!

We have been to a few places together and met some wonderful people on the way


And last year we decided to buy a ski apartment in Les deux alpes in france. It is only a tiny studio but 20m from the gondola in the centre on the resort and is just what we wanted. We rent it to a holiday company and we can use for 2 weeks in winter and 2 in summer, which suits us just fine.

I see from one of your pics, you have been to Soldeu. When was that, it looked pretty cold? I'm off there for the first time at the end of Jan.

Far Queue I loved Soldeu, we were actually staying in pas de la casa and that picture was taken on the Soldeu side. We have been there twice and each time they had the biggest snowfall of the season!! and it was freeeeeeeezing!!! It's such good value for money Andorra would definately recommend.

Welcome to J2ski. We are all pretty mental on here, There are a number of people who have some fantastic knowledge and experience to tap into too. But if you love skiing, like a bit of a laugh, and generally are a little mad this is the place for you.
