Hoping for some guidance. We've gone a bit 'off piste' this year compared to what we normally do and have booked accommodation down the mountain in Champagny en Vanoise.
Has anyone stayed there? If so, please can you advise the route into the La Plagne ski area each day and back again? How much time do you need to allow? Many thanks |

All advice welcome. We're flying into Grenoble on 9th April and looking for a resort not too far away with decent greens and blues for relative beginners. Were planning on Alpe D'Huez but seems most of the lower down runs current unskiable - any ideas?
Much appreciated Thanks |

If you fancy a budget hotel that can do half board or just B&B I'd recommend the Hotel Caribou. It is very close to a lift that takes you straight up to the main slopes.

Having become hooked we're carrying on skiing through the summer months at our local dry slope. Anyone come across any 'thin' salopettes good for such conditions? Any other good dry slope kit out there?

Going to ADH in a few days. Any hints/tips on getting the hire car safely back to the Swiss Side of Geneva Airport or is it just a case of following the airport directions?
I will have a sat nav - can I rely on that? Many thanks  |
