Get a chair up to Sportina, everything including ski school up there. Get the bus around to the main chair for beginners and they come back down the same way. You can go up and down without skis on.
154 till Cormayeur. First time there so here's hoping.
For the first time ever when skiing in Italy I had a problem with ski school (not Pila) and I went with Crystal. Large group of mixed ability. Complained to the reps and followed it up with customer services on return and received compensation. I would always notify customer services if things aren't right, not for the compensation, but if people don't inform the main office of problems nothing would change.

This year all in our ski group were wearing a helmet except the instructor on day 1. Day 2, instructor rocks up with helmet on. Nobody had said a word.

Spent 6 months learning to walk again after a serious back injury.

Two things that were always stressed not to do - swim if your one of those that only use breaststroke, and long hot baths if you have any kind of muscle strain.

Tens machine from chemist and half an hour with a Chiropractor. I've had serious E back problems for years and the old tens machine is a god send. Keep moving.
