Passo is good for groupd of all abilities with the skiing down in Ponti (all same local lift pass) better for the good intermediates. Off to Bardonecchia for the first time a week Sunday so am interested in the responces from those that have been. |

This is my 4th trip to Passo as I have some beginners with me and it's ideal. The Instructors are great. make time for the Magic Bar after skiing-noisy but fun and for a mad hour walk down to the Yellow Umbrella - buy one get one free happy hour. Never taken much over the 3 hours. |

About 3 hours max-hoping the roads will be quite on the 26th. |

Cheers - apart from the transfer I always enjoy it. Must start getting back to Austria some time though.

Things looking good for Passo - shame that Ponti is not fully open. Finally booked for 26 Dec at Delph Alpi as La Torreta was fully booked. Will just have to settle for one of their Pissa's.

Passo just had a big dump with more to come this week - great place for beginners and those needing to build confidance. Great instructors and as the man says, try the yellow umbrella followed by El Bait is the place after a hard day on the piste. I have been 3 times and the runs down in Ponti are great for taking people once they have mastered Passo. Get on the gondala at the mid way station to start with. http://adamelloski.com/Interne/Interna.aspx?ID=3196" target="_new" rel="nofollow"> http://adamelloski.com/Interne/Interna.aspx?ID=3196 for weather and web cams.

Just heard a rumour and cannot remember where from. The Ski Club GB rings a bell but unable to find anything at the mo. Will try Inghams direct as they cover the area. |
