Really - I'm the other way round - can't stand wine usually but warm it up with a bit of sugar and a few spices and it's quite drinkable. |

But imagine free vin chaud followed by a ride up front in the piste basher sounds great. :D

I read this report http://www.alpedhueznet.com/whats_new_article.php?id_whats_new=6340&id_back=1 about a group of skiers stuck in Alpe d'Huez. The question is though, do you sit with the driver? get towed behind the basher or stay for free drinks? :D :D

Thanks - I've just had a go too and given everyone on the thread loads to make them feel better about their star ratings too. :-) :-)

Ah, just noticed for the first time there is a little box that says "rate". It makes sense now. Apart from the shrinkage.

My star count is shrinking :(
I don't even know how to get them, how to give them or what they mean. Is it something like McDonalds employees get? |

I commented to my OH about how few boarders there were in Alpe d'Huez, he thought as it was w/c 11th January they were probably all at school!

I have also just come back from Alpe d'Huez. One of our party was a boarder who before hand moaned nothing in Europe is as good as Canada - he ate his words at AdH and admitted the snow there was better than Canada (though we did have a very lucky week with the weather) and said the on and off piste just as good too.
