We have just been to and from Geneva with EasyJet and carried out boots as hand luggage - there is a big pocket on the back of the bag for passport and wallet and seeing the way the boots come rolling down the luggage chute in Geneva we were pleased we were carrying ours.

As a contact lense wearer I prefer goggles as you dont get wind coming in round the sides making your eyes water. I started with some cheap ones from TK Maxx, which were fine.

We are driving from Milton Keynes to St Francoise Longchamp in Feburary and can't decide between buying a roof rack or using magnetic ski rack for our two pairs of skis. The magnetic holders seem a good idea as they can tranfer from car to car but I've not heard from anyone who has used them. Has anyone?
