We stayed at Les Menuires a few years ago and had no problem with the location. We managed to get to all distant corners of the 3V and back to the hotel easily enough. I cant remember individual runs to recommend but we had a great time there. You will have no trouble seeing the whole area and getting home before the lifts shut. I'd really recommend it and would love to go back again.

Ski hire is the only thing not included.
We go with children and considering everything else that is included it still works out cheaper than going skiing any other way. Though I don't think I'd be saying the same if we were heading fo the St Moriz hotel! Really looking forward to Cervinia as Zermatt is just over the hill. And there is soooo much snow!!! :D |

We are going to Club Med in Cervinia in January. Does anyone know the nearest or most convenient ski hire shop to the hotel so we can book our skis in advance? I know Club Med hire skis but they are usually very overpriced so we usually go to a local shop.
Thanks. |

Now that I have bought the flights for 2013 I have also taken advantage of kitting out the kids for next year. Roxy and Quicksilver have around 60% off their ski clothing. Just hope my children grow the correct amount between now and next February!

Of course - I booked Luton/Geneva for next February, first thing this morning. Now just got to spend 11 months deciding which resort to go to :D

We fly into Geneva next week and I have been trying to find a route to La Thuile in Italy. Google Maps send me a 253 km, 3 and a half hour trip around Switzerland and Italy. Why can't I go via France and through the Mont Blanc Tunnel? Has anyone done it via the tunnel is it very straight forward? Thanks.
