Advice please-weekend trip to Munich!
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 46 Replies
Dude, just get a car. The train that runs to Innsbruck is great as well.
I've done train, plane and car. Car is by far the best. You can get a cheap (for you) taxi from the Airport to the Bahnhof.
Good luck have a safe trip, can you snap a few pic's while your out? Give a poor American something to drool over  ?
 That is scary as hell

My dad's 57 and he took up skiing this past season and did it with a new hip. Last year I had one of my guests ski for her 88th birthday!

Flight I'm thinking of getting is for 14 nights from London Heathrow, 11th - 25th Feb.
Its the skiing and skeleton in Whistler I'm most interested in, as I know one of the British Skeleton team, Ant Sawyer, and I go to Kitzbuhelevery year to watch the downhill & super G.
Sounds like $1000 should do the accomodation. How far is this place on the coastfrom Whistler?
Route 99 goes from Vancouver ( Sea Island) to Whistler and after you get out of the city near Horseshoe Bay, you have 1 1/2 hours. The whole trip is about 2:10 hours

I see an exchange rate at 1 GBP = 1.10 EUR on my screen at the moment... that rate is going to hurt a lot come ski time in Euroland.
:-(
Really? It's got to have something to do with the US economy, apparently one of the big to do's at the G 20 summit was to start coming up with a "level" international currency.

I think the plans they have for the worlds currencies are....the US Dollar, Canadian Dollar and Mexican Peso will all be merged into the "Ameuro" ( I think the spelling is correct), the countries of europe ( including the UK) will be saddlled with the Euro, and the asian continets will all have a similar joined currency.

And then after time those currencies will all again merge until all countries are using one currency only....with one World Bank. ( is it a coincidence that the Rothschilds and Rockrfellers all have substantial stakes in the Bank of England and the US Treasury etc?...from what i hear).

jon.
That's going to be one ugly looking bill :(. So that's going to be Ben Franklin wearing a sombrero with a hockey stick? No **** Really the Rockefellers have stock in the Bank of England? On second thought it doesn't surprise me. The Rockefellers have little "treasure dumps" all over the place.

It'd just be nice to find a job where I can get some of those Amero-peso's
