My dad is not a member thank the lord!
You are right though, they probably provide more fun than they are used for - listening to other conversations is the best. My mate had a good use last year in cham - we go in seperate gondalas and we plat guess the song as he sings down it - much amusement to the other passengers (those who had a personality anyway!!) |

Same here, I bought some from Snow & Rock (not ski specific tho), they have a coverage of about 3 miles - probalt about 1.5 when you take into account hills etc!
But yeah they are great, I use them when skiing with my dad (aged 65) who often goes astray! :D |

By the looks of the reports Andorra (and a lot of europe in general) is due some snow in the next couple of days.
Fingers crossed. I am off to italy a week on sat, but the resort is 3,000m high so I should be ok  |

Suppose it will tell about how many bruises I have on my arse whether it is ice or proper hard packed powder
Really looking forward to it. Wonder if I will feel the same after the first day with snow in every orifice! |

Yes they are the exact type that I have got, they fit snugly under my glove.
The reports say "hard Packed" is that the painful stuff? |

Does that mean trencher that I am really likely to be bending my wrist forwards rather than backwards like I would have thought you would?
As you can probably guess this is my first time boarding. Will I look a bit of an idiot the first day with them on? Do they affect doing up bindings? |

I have just bought a pair for boarding. I was surprosed when i got them to learn that the stiff bar is to be worn on the inside of the palm.
I would have thought that when you fall over the wrist would bend backwards rather than forwards? Any experience....Trencher? |
