just to jump in on this thread I am collecting a friend at Geneva airport at 11am in jan 11..where should I wait or should I park on the French side ...any tips

I have one of those combination type ones with a steel cable...not much of a deterrent but make it that bit more of a faff for someone to walk of with yours ..and you can attach them to something solid...it would be even more effective...if I used it

There is the whole J2ski group there Feb 2-9 and I'm in Campitello the week before..I've never been before either so I'm making up for it this year

I have a Skitube for sale in good condition with locks...the best thing for carrying skis on planes..It holds 1 pair of skis plus poles £30 plus carriage costs

Got a KISS skitube for sale...don't think it will take 2 pairs though

have a look at a lebara sym..pay as you go and the French branch will send yo one..you will have to check the prices though..it was cheaper last season

I quite like brides...it does take 20mins or so to on the bubble but you can ski the far end of the area even with that,,the costs are quite reasonable and as to getting stuck in a bar up the mountain...if you could afford this you can afford to stay there lol
