Getting fit for skiing

Dave Mac,
That's why I didn't go to my old school reunion. I could just imagine everyone eyeing each other up to see who was the fattest, most wrinkly, unfit etc. Best of luck with the 'beauty' contest

And Trencher, I eat masses of fibre - brown rice, brown bread, muesli, loads of fruit and vegetables, and normally no bicuits or cakes etc. (except at Christmas - my downfall).

Back to getting fit for ski-ing - I only have 4 days left to diet and get fit

Admin,
I didn't want to frighten him too much so I thought I'd better not mention the threats to cut off our heads with an axe or sell our children into slavery  :D

As you remind us from time to time, this is supposed to be a family friendly website :D

Snower2010,
We all have to obey Admin, because he administers this website, and he can stop us using it - ban us from the site - if he thinks our posts justify it.

So, you'd better say something polite and useful fast, before you get banned.

For example, you could help me. Is there any decent cheap self-catering accommodation in St Anton, and which estate agent is it with? I'd like somewhere with easy slope access and near the food shops.

Thanks in advance for your help :D

Thanks Dave Mac,
I did have a look on a website, but it reverted to German when it came to looking for accommodation, and I don't know any German at all

Maybe someone else knows :P

We like self-catering much more than chalets or hotels, but it seems to be a lot harder to find self-catering in Austria than in France, where we have been for the last few years.

Dave Mac,
My daughter has very expensive tastes, and she would like to ski St Anton one ski holiday. Does it have any cheap self-catering accommodation?

Thanks,

Whoopee I have five stars

Ian,
You are a total hypocrite! :D

And, furthermore, I don't see why you should get 5 stars for saying exactly what I just said

Tony,
I don't think I've ever pretended to be stupid, just rather out of touch with the modern world, which is entirely accurate. I did wonder whether 'Marmite' might be another bit of incomprehensible modern lingo, like 'gay on a tray' :D

It was very kind of Bandit to take me at my word and explain it for me :D

And since this thread is supposed to be about a resort suitable for beginners and hikers, I would just mention that La Rosiere is supposed to be good for both (not that I was a beginner or a hiker when I visited it so I can't vouch for that personally).
