I hope all goes well for you, and the boot fits okay, and you have a great time ski-ing, Ally |

Thanks Snapzzz, That sounds like a really great deal. Well done for getting it, and I hope you have a fantastic holiday. Sometimes the tour operators can come up with some very cheap holidays. When my second daughter was young we had some really good deals, where she got a totally free holiday - free flights, accommodation, and ski pass, lessons, and ski hire. Ally |

Snapzzz,
That looks a pretty good bargain to me! I'd take it before it runs away :D I've never had a self-catering apartment for less than 700 euros (Feb half-term admittedly), and I don't know about La Plagne but the lift pass for Les Arcs is just over 200 euros for an adult. We paid about 100 euros each for 'black' skis and boot hire in Courchevel. After you've bought it, maybe you could tell us who you got it with :D Ally |

Well, just use it as a hanky then, as Trencher suggested  |

Take no notice, Olly, I think your jacket is very nice :D

Well you're very lucky they fitted - remember what happened when I bought my D2B trousers on the internet - maybe it's because you're so nice and slim now :D |

Ian, I didn't think there was anything wrong with D2B anyway, at least it does have a logo - I don't think my sallopettes did :D £20 was a real bargain - did you get them in TK Maxx as well? |

I was in the post office a couple of days ago, and the poor lady in front of me only got 1.03 euros to the pound  What a change in only a month! I have had my bank statements now, and in Courchevel on 17th Feb I got an exchange rate of 1.1178 euros to the pound when using my Visa debit card. It's amazing how much, and how fast the euro/pound exchange rate fluctuates. Ally |
