Sleeps till ski time
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 2661 Replies
Just had a week in chamonix. It would appear a lot of people feel like that. Suits us, uncrowded slopes, no queues whatsoever, anywhere.
We could not have gone any other week in the season due to work and gcse, a level commitments and at least we got to go which we didn't last season.
Had a great time and have skied Les Houches, Le Tour, Argentiere and Brevent/La Flegere.

unless you've got 1000m vertical and a fast lift, not much good to you

Which is what we had today in Le Tour :D

We didn't panic but we did fill up yesterday morning before the hysteria set in.
We can be forgiven, we're driving to the Alps on Saturday.
I hate panic buying...grrr..
Anyone organising a group?

Surely if people were interested they would fill in the survey and ask for more info?
Ally has given dates and a resort on public forum.
I am sure she has given more info to those privately who have expressed an interest and who aren't knocking her every effort.

Good for you Ally,
I won't be going along as don't really fancy Tignes or January...and it's way too far away for me to decide anyway...
But I really do hope it gets off the ground and if it does that those who go all have a great time
I've organised groups of family and friends in the past and that's stressful enough so well done for even considering taking this on, let alone actually doing it.
:D

There goes my chance of another ski trip this season.

How selfish.

Edited to add selfish of him!
