I'm intending on going on a ski vacation to Breckenridge
in 3 weeks. But I'm thinking I have a navicular fracture is there a way to tape it up to take some of the edge off? I've tried skiing on it right after I did it, after I could put weight on it and it did suck. It sucked quite badly. I'm thinkin' hammer down some pain killers and a few shots. But I don't want my ski season to be over. Not after how long and hard I've worked this year. I figure I'm tough as nails considering last year I skied on a torn MCL |

About 3 weeks ago I went to a local resort in NY, and hated it, but with the weather the way it was I was asking for trouble. With sticky icy slopes I took my first run (and chances) of the day and got caught on a patch of ice and slammed the back of my head into my left ski. After I got poked a few times by someone's pole. I stood back up and started to ski again. About 50 feet later I caught another patch of ice and took a tree to my left shoulder and got a tree up the butt. I got back up and finished the run. Now if the tree and the knocking myself out didn't stop me.
:-o I was going back down to my apartment 2 weeks ago and was clipped by a semi then rear ended at 60 mph by a prick that couldn't keep her distance. I JUST got my car replaced it wasn't even a month old and my dad just put my new plates on! I was SO irate when I got out of my car ( which was hanging off the side of a bridge) I kicked a concrete barrier with my foot as hard as I could in frustration. Aaaaaand I kinda broke my foot. Its a good thing it's like 60 and sunny outside |

I'm trying to find work overseas. I need something practical I'm a student. Where do I even start?

what if you've got a great theme for your skis? Is there a company out there that can customize them?

It's funny you say that becuase I veiwed an unlucky kid trying to be slick and he popped his collar bone out of his coat. How nasty is that. For mt my picture perfect ski vaction is almost over. Now I get to back to a totalled car ( A kid ran a light an hour before I was to go on the bus and come to snowmass) and I have to start finding a new car. Amazingly I didn't come out of this trip with any broken, bruised or skinned parts. I took a real hard fall after coming off a blue into a very shaded green and found my skis' in places that skis should never go. But as always I got back up and finshed the 2500+ ft run.

Oh come on I didn't raise any eyebrows at that one? :?: hehehe For my last run I decided to go to the highest peak in the resort and truck it down. I got way to tried and had to have patrol pick me up and drag me down. I didn't want to risk falling down a wooded blue, with my luck  I was holding on to the sled, skis and poles and my camera. (Got some gnarly shots) and I guess I moved a certain way and my pole shot out of the back of the sled. Four days later is hasn't been recoved. Better a pole then my hide |
