Maybe there are worth a try. Are they North Face montana's? (see link)

The one's I had that had an inner was some quiksilver ones where the inner was held in by Velcro but every time you pulled your hand out the inner was coming with it whether you liked it or not, very annoying! So changed to Quiksilver Carpals with no inner and they were amazing but they are now heavily worn out.

But lets remember a lot can change in 24-48 hours in the mountains. I was in Slovenia in January this year and at the start of the week it was 13 degrees!! Two days later it was -7 degrees and they had half a metre of snow in 24 hours! The resort went from patchy with grass and rock poking through everywhere to completely covered with some fantastic conditions. I was amazed at how fast things can change! Lets be optimistic, as its not even December yet.

I personally hate those type of gloves, I find them quite annoying when every time you take your glove off the liner comes out to. I had a pair like that a few years ago. I've been looking at getting a pair of North Face gloves.

Canada has some of the best Skiing in the world! Don't be put off by the short drive from Bannff to Lake Louise and Sunshine Village or the long flight. I was there for a season in 2006, amazing town, amazing people and fantastic skiing. The resorts are absolutely massive as well you won't get bored. After skiing in Canada you will feel compelled to go back.

I've had Mens Quiksilver carpal gloves for the last two years and they've now had it and I need some new ones but just can't decide on whether to stay with Quiksilver or try a different brand. Anyone got any they would like to recommend?

I'm going on the 16th December to Courchevel and must admit I was quite worried about the lack of snow. That was until I looked on igluski and looked at the historical snow stats and as it turns out Courchevel don't really see much snow until the first week of December at the earliest, and that the last 2 years they haven't had any snow until December. I've now made a pact with myself not to check the webcams until December!

Don't panic, watch this video on Sky news if you want some re-assuring. If anything this is an opportunity if you are looking for some cheap shares that could re-bound big time in 2012!
