Thanks a million - I will definitely try this - you don't think then that they are necessarily the "wrong" boots for me? As I said the foot fits fine.
I really didn't know enough about boots in general to know what to do with the power strap and how to use it. Now I do !! Thanks again |

I have only been skiing three times - twice in Andorra and in Jan in Austria for four days - red runs in Austria are obviously quite challenging for me but really enjoyed it.
I bought a pair of Atomic boots (sucker!) and have left them in the apartment (folks bought one last summer - cool!!) so as a result I can't try them on at home for a few days but.... My problem was not the fit as such (the foot fits perfectly) but the tongue is eating my shin after a few hours. It seems the tongue is not sitting straight with my shin and the "plastic" is cutting in. I simply shaved a couple of millimmetres off the tongue but not sure whether to continue with this to go too close to the stitching. Has anyone got any ideas? I am going again at the end of Feb for a full week and would like to address this issue. Any suggestions welcome. I know the boots are bottom range but the foot does fit. Regards |
