I've read the snow reports but i don't know how much snow is enough snow.
50cm it seems like a lot of the white stuff for me. Can you ski in it? I don't have a clue.

Can anyone shed some light please?
free lifts

alpe d'huez has a cheaper option to the visa alp card, an area lift pass, that works out cheaper. but if want to wonder around see the ice sculptures, visit pic blanc, you will need to pay separetly. Not sure if its the best option, I have paid for the visa alp which gives you acess to the pool and ice rink
I've booked lesson for december in a dry slope, and I'm planning to have more lessons before my trip in april.
Goggles or Sun Glasses

So I guess that for protection and comfort wise goggles are the choice to ski, while my Arnet sun glasses would do just fine to chill out at the cafe.

Double lenses are a must get other wise they would steam, and finaly the tint doesn't seem to be a common decision but the orange ones seem to be the main choice, I don't want to buy two pairs of goggles just for the first week, I feel i've spent far too much already. So I guess i'm going to get a pair of decent goggles from TKMAxx.

Goggles or Sun Glasses

Being a first time skier, my knowledge is very limited, that’s why yesterday when I was at the TKMAxx I looked at the goggles and didn’t know what to do. I’ve read somewhere that amber lenses are the best ones for most of the conditions, they work well when it’s bright and also when it’s dark.
So when should I use sun glasses, I was considering not buying sun glasses and only use goggles when we are skiing and when we are chilling out at the café use my normal sun glasses.

My question is: When should one use sun glasses and when to use goggles?
Been this weekend to the one in Kensington High St and the one in Tun Wells.

What I got:

Trespass PAnts : 30
Columbia pants : 40

Socks and hat

What my OH got

2 pairs rip curl pants 30 each

one trespass jacket 30

both of us also got some gloves

We now have everything we need for our trip, I might be getting another jacket though.

bring the snow. :D
