as for lift pass I think you can buy them on ifyouski, but i'd wait for Tony to tell you, he's a saving machine alltogether.

just out of interest, what's the dry slope where you are learning?

if you live in london you also go to the o2 snow slope with a nursery slope and two proper slopes, they also do lessons.

I've done the same thing you are doing, I have booked a ski course in a dry slope near by, after that I want to practice a bit then we may do the intermediate course before we head off to the mountains. We are planning on having some private lessons there.
