I never quite understood how can one replace the feeling of playing by pressing a couple coloured buttons. And nowadays you can get a real guitar and a small amp big enough to annnoy your family by as much as the price of the game and the "guitar"

It's bringing me a new bass, red and white just like santa's hat... and a couple more stuff that I don't know what it is.

Oh and some dry slope lessons as of this saturday.

From Alpe D'huez website

If you haven’t already skied yourself into the ground during the day, then Alpe d’Huez is one of the few resorts that also offers night skiing. Every Tuesday and Thursday, the slopes on the Signal mountain are re-prepared at the end of the day and then opened again from 5.30 - 7.30pm (6.30 - 8.30pm in Spring due to longer daytime lift operating hours). With mainly blue & red graded pistes, the area is suitable for intermediate to experienced skiers. There is also a slalom course available where you'll often see some of the local ski club kids being put through their paces. Night skiing is all included on your VISALP lift pass or you can buy a one off ticket for €8.50 if you don't have the full ski pass. The night skiing is open from 23rd December 2008 to 26th March 2009.

Hi Emma

what day is your birthday? My other half will be 30th in april too, and we are going to Alpe D'huez to celebrate
I used to buy lots of that brand when I was living in Portugal, my OH has a jacket she's taking to Alpe D'Huez from Quechua, their stuff is cheap but really good, I remember a 100l bag that I bought for £20, and it last me the whole time I was in the army and lots of summers camping, I left it somewhere back at home.

Oh i've been to TK Maxx today and both 2 pairs of goggles, some bloc ones for me and some sinner ones for my OH, both 400nm and double lenses, cat 2 with ambar lenses.
Depends where you go, the Dartford branch is horrendous, the Tunbridge well is good, the Kensington one is ok.

I guess it differs from one to the other.

i bought all my gear already just need to buy a pair of goggles, maybe going to TK maxx this weekend
