Credit Crunch is on, but yeah Sod it, i've booked my first skiing trip to april 2009, and I can't wait to go.
Maybe when we get there things are a bit better. |

I think that will really depend on how much used to boats and sea you and your party is. If you have a couple of newcomers that may be a bit tricky but nothing that some pills won't solve, take one a hour before boarding and then one every 6 hours and you will do fine.

Hi everyone
I'm going skiing for the first time next april, and my other half suffers from asthma. Will this be a problem for her, or as long as she's fit and with her asthma under control, she will be alright? Thanks David |

What's EFS?
Caron I read about the danger of drag lifts some people seem to strugle with them. My other half is not tall at all in fact she's quite petit, will she have a problem with them? A whole week of lessons after MK? But not lessons where i'm being teach the same basic steps again right? Will I be able to ski on my own at some point while having lessons? |

Question for a newbie on the mountain for the first time, what should I take? goggles or ski glasses? Will my arnette sun glasses have any use there?

Tony I was thinking about TK max or Decathlon, i'm from Portugal and in there they usually have lots of stuff for skiing.
Will it be a good choice. I was thinking of booking a day or two when we get there instead on booking a whole week of lessons. Is this a mistake? Beacause the lessons are so expensive and I thought if I learned in the uk, maybe I can make the most of it when I get there. Of course i don't plan on running any red or black track. |

Great info guys.
I am going to learn ski in MK on a full day course, then to get it cheaper I think i'll used the dry slope near home, My first holiday will be in april 2009, so I expect to be able to run greens without falling every five minutes. |
