Just been and very impressed. Looking at other French resorts with good easy/medium skiing. Ideally not to far from GVA. Any body care to share there hidden "gems"??

What is Val Thorens like for green and blue slopes. Just done a couple of days in La Clusaz and heard good things from a fellow skier. Anywhere else near to La Clusa that has good beginner/intermediate slopes nearby? |

Cheshcked out the ski bus and see that the timing are not good. I end up losing 1/2 day. Any other options for getting to/from Geveva Airport - La Clusaz. Arrive Sat morning, leave Tuesday night.
