ooo err.... is that a little dig at the welsh or maybe even N???? Now....completely off topic a little lesson in the language of heaven Tony-H. My pseudonym has no "W" in it - it's BLODYN which translated means flower. Right, I'm off my soap box now. Rant over :-) |

I tried this when I came back rom niederau, and it wouldn't recognise my lift pass for some reason.

Well yes, but I like the thought of returning to Niederau for new year. I'm a creature of habit I guess and Niederau is a nice place to catch up with old friends. As long as I can get in two holidays a year, I'm happy to go to Niederau once, and somewhere else.
I've just decided to tag on to my cousin's group holiday to Mayerhofen in March, so I may be looking for some info before long :) |

Just been on the lufthansa website looking for a flight to Munich. I was looking for a flight for this february half term, but have had to conceed that the prices are ridiculous. However, they do have some great deals for later in the year...... so have booked a flight for 26 December 2009 returning a week later all for £100 return inc all taxes. Bargain!
:D So I think it's going to be a return to Niederau for New Year for me..... is it normal to be booking next year's skiing holiday this far in advance??? |

Having just driven through Germany for several hours, the only thing I would watch out for is the lunatic drivers in the big german cars. The speed some of them drive at is incredible, and they seem to appear in your rear view mirror from nowhere. Keep your wits about you, and you'll be fine!

Lovely photos m0nk3y. It's making me quite jealous! I want to go back. You're right about the village - everyone is really friendly, and really want you to have a good time.
I'm glad you enjoyed your first skiing experience - next time you go,you should try red 19 under the gondola. It's a lovely run, especially once you turn right to go through the trees. |
