[Well, I'll be there starting Jan 8th for a week. Hope Gunter's bar will be in full swing early evenings !]
I arrive in N on 13, so I'm sure I'll be ready for a drink in Gunther's bar on the friday afternoon. Would be good to meet another J2skier! (And I'm sure we could persuade Dave Mac to have just one zipfer there before heading back to the Bichlewirt ;-) |

I've just bought my first lid too - a Salomon custom air. It feels quite light, and doesn't look too bad. Does anyone know anything about it?

hey,
the best place to go for apres ski is the sport cafe, which is on the main road. Great fun for a few hours straight after ski school - a lot of the instructors and locals go there and it's always great fun. Bobo's at the bottom of the main nursery slope is also good for apres ski, and does a lovely gluewhein. There's the irish bar O'Malleys which is also in the centre of the village which seems to have different gigs most nights, and there's a couple of really nice places on the outskirts of the village which are really good too. I think one of them is called the baurkeller? (Please help here LDavies!) You'll have a great time I'm sure. |

I've just got home after a brilliant week in Niederau. The red ski school were fantasctic once again, and the sport cafe was great fun as always. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I got given one for christmas last year, and it's still in the box, never been used. Feel a bit guilty about it actually. |

Hi,
When I was in Kitzbuhel, I hired skis from Inter sport. I know there's quite a few different places to hire equipment in Kitzbuhel but there are a number of intersport shops. There's one at the bottom of the gondola. The guys there were really helpful, and were happy to change equipment during the week without any problem. I changed my skis a couple of times, and they were great. They seemed very competative on price, and there was plenty of different levels of equipment to chose from. With the euro as it is, it may well be cheaper to book the equipment before you go, but it's really easy to arrange when you get there. Hope you have a great time. |
