Hi there...
How near Villach?? We live a couple of hours away and some liftf are opening this weekend! You may need to come inland a little as Villach is a little Southern... Our place is in the Ski-Amade network (about 45min from Salzburg) There will be plenty of snowing throughout this area. |

It is certainly best to fly to Salzburg and then go from there...
The transfer time to skiing is very short (45min ish) and can be booked on a coach, train or cab... We run a guest house in this area (Radstadt, 1 resort down from Obertaurn)... click on our web link to find a little more (www.austrian-adventures.com) |

Get yourselves anywhere within the Ski-Amade network...
The ski pass has 860+km of ski piste all on one pass at loads of different places. This is all around the Salzburg area. Just by strength in numbers i would suggest coming to Salzburg as there are so many places to go on the one pass. I am going skiing this weekend on the Reiteralm lift just 15min from my house (I live in Radstadt) so by the 14th Dec snow won't be a problem on this pass! |

 Luck 'ol me
I have just moved to Radstadt in Austria from England... I can't believe that I am already going to go skiing on Saturday just 15min from my house! We have bought a guest house so I best get as much in before the season really starts! The Reiteralm gondala is open for this and next weekend... Anyone know of anywhere else opening soon?? |
