Jackson Hole is amazing resort, though it is best suited to advanced skiers, as you say. While there is quite a bit of intermediate skiing, you're not going to get the most out it.
Loved the town itself, genuine cowboy country, ranches as far as the eye can see. The food was superb wherever we went, though they aren't really into the vegi thing. There are a lot of black runs, ranging from relatively easy wide slopes, though heavily moguled, to extreme narrow clutes. Also several unpisted slopes which are challenging. The north, middle and south Hobacks for instance are actually a whole unpisted mountain side. Take a day trip over to Grand Targhee too.

Tony Robinson would be proud of some of the old stuff being dug up!

Depends on whether the reality matched what they thought they were getting. If it advertises fast wifi then rubbish wifi would be valid criticism.
What really annoys me is people who buy a budget holiday then review it as if they were expecting 5 stars. |

I hope they all turn out to be wrong! With everywhere open a week or two early.

Redundancy after 24 years. Making the most of a 'career break'. 17 days on snow. |

I haven't been for a few years, it had become so samey. It seemed to be 75% Snow & Rock and Ellis Brigham shops, a real snow slope/jump too small to be interesting and lots of TO's and resort reps and not a lot else.
Has anything changed? I hope they've given ESF a poor pitch. |

Ridiculous idea. Buy a new outfit to match your skis not the other way around!
