Can someone explain to me how the snow report can say there is 180cm at top and 80cm at bottom also that sauze reports powder, when a lot of the slopes have stone, mud and grass comming thro' and there's been no real snow since Dec 21st?, I stayed here w/c 2nd Jan, the run from the top down to sestriere was terrible and even the olympic black had stones coming thro'I'm due to go back w/c 30th... where do the strange figures come from,, Regards, Gareth |

Hi I skied La Thuile 2 years ago and stayed at Hotel du glacier, we enjoyed our stay and the snow was excellent, however i found the resort quiet and was told the snow was not always as good as we got it, The skiing was excellent but snow was poor in la Rosiere, other years I'm told it can be the reverse
