Where to ski in march?

Don't know about the best, but can definitely recommend Verbier, as long as it does not have to be ski-in ski-out resort. Some good apres-ski too :)

Yeah, we must do Sella Ronda.
I hear that it can be done in both directions.

Of course coffee breaks are essential )
And you can't beat Italian food :!:
Thank you once again,

Thank you for a reassurance.

I thought it is rather nice there.
I will lent my poles to my wife for that long blue run ),
I've also heard there is a lovely long run from Marmolada glacier with stunning views accessed from nearby Arabba.
Did you make it to Arabba/Marmolada?

Cheers,

Hi Jastem,

Thank you for your tip :)
I'll check this hotel.
I've heard that Corvara has many easy blue runs, for my wife of course, and some nice eateries.
Is it also your opinion?

Hi,

We would like to go skiing to Corvara in Dolomites in March.
If we are correct there are no package holidays from the UK :?:
The only UK based catered chalet operator, Colletts, are fully booked in March
Could you recommend a place to book an accommodation in Corvara?
Also could you advice on best flight and airport transfer options from London?

Many thanks for your help.

Yeah,

Snow was not too bad on the northern slopes.
I really liked black World Cup run from Zwolferkogel, and a night toboggan run from Reiterkogel in Hinterglemm :D.
Unfortunately all runs on the north side of the main valley were too steep for my wife to enjoy. The south side was really slushy from half way down the mountains. However the 2 long runs mentioned before to Leogang and Viehhofen alone were worth the trip to Saalbach/Hinterglemm.
Oh, and the mountain huts there are very nice. Best We've seen so far )

Hi Snapzzz,

We have a similar problem as my wife feels confident on easy blue runs only.
Just got back from Saalbach where despite many marked blue runs I struggled to find her an easy run :(.
We did however get some friendly advice from a nice, seasoned Scottish skier who stayed at the same hotel.
He strongly recommended for my wife and me: Corvara in beatiful Dolomites and Courchevel.

Hope it helps.
