Death Couloir, Meribel: Top of saulire, climb wobbly ladder adjacent to top of bubble lift, traverse ridge, down seriously steep 10ft wide couloir which ends halfway down and you have to enter parallel one.
Makes Grand Couloir on the Courchevel side seem like a green one (it is the easiest of the three on that side of Saulire mind). Sous Telepherique is the hardest of those three. |

Which bit of Courchevel are they staying in? It's a long way from 1300 to 1850 by road.
It's also unlikely to be cheap, but you could contact the Meribel tourist office and get a price via them. |

Ally G - I don't think your method of doing up your boots its that much different from what CEM taught Bandit.
Often pain in the foot is a circulation issue and it is very common for people to undo their clips on lifts or at lunch. Surprised no footbed was offered as giving the right support to your foot is essential - our foot arches are all different after all. The skiing with clips undone is one of the oldest ski instructor tactics in the book and helps to ensure you get in the right position to work the ski. |

I can understand Julie wanting to season in Europe (to see how big a big ski area actually is!), but I'd have expected the big French resorts or some of the major swiss ones first!
