When you see more and more of my posts you will be tempted I promise you that. I am just staying up, leaving at 3 so will sit and have a couple of whiskeys and chill out. I have no kids (that I'm aware of :wink: ,) just my own luggage to worry about, ski bag (20kg) and suitcase (20kg).

Altibus, didn't think about the train till it was too late. I am paid up and have the tickets in hand.. are you going to tell me I was stupid about it?

The 7.40 to Chambery can't come quick enough! What is the airport like on a Sunday? Got a few hours to burn before the transfer... anything good to do kicking about? Bars?

My first skiing holiday ever was at Risoul aged 3. All I remember is skiing past the group and the instructor and the instructor making me hike back up to them. B*stard. Nothing more to add!

It will be circa -20 for the next week with plenty snow forecast. If anything it will be a bit breezy, would change the thread title incase you get other folk as worried as you clearly are. Anywhere, where? I heard Chamonix is meant to be pretty rockin' head there if you are worried. |
