I’m also a student, though am in the final year of a chemistry PhD so work crazy hours and spend most of my life in a lab surrounded by evil and smelly chemicals.
I found this site by accident last summer (filling in time between experiments when I should have been doing something constructive) and now spend way too much time on here reading everyones' posts and occasionally replying when I get round to it!! ) When not stuck in a lab (or away skiing), I spend every spare moment at the stables with my gorgeous horse, Max (the main ‘man in my life’, as my exasperated husband will testify!) Failing that, I love cooking (made a very tasty batch of chocolate and cherry brownies and a lemon cake this weekend), eating chocolate (preferably Lindt or Thornton’s), drinking red wine or curling up with a good book. :D |

Well, it doesn't leave a great deal to the imagination... :D |

Too many - have had my holiday and don't think I'm going to get back again this year due to work and finances :( |

Hmm, should probably read things back before posting! :D
To set the record straight, in the summer I go out in a T shirt and jodhpurs - I haven't got long enough hair to be doing Lady Godiva impressions, and have no desire to get arrested!! ) And on the bony horse front, the only answer is to borrow another one! :D I used to do a lot of bareback show jumping when I was younger, but have acquired a bit more sense since I came off and landed on a scaffolding fence, resulting in a large divot in my left hip and two weeks on crutches. Now I’ve taken up skiing, I have another option for breaking my neck so can be a bit more sensible with the riding  |

:D No to the dolphins but I'd love to. Where did you go on your first ski holiday? |

That's more like it (lycra or not!!) :D Most of the other photos are just disturbing though  |

I live near Middlesbrough :D
All riding at present is done on local bridle paths, with as many layers on as possible (it's bl**dy cold out there at the minute!!) and with a saddle on as current horse, although lovely, is bony and uncomfotable :D |
