Thanks Pablo, a dedicated skiers location! Looks like Ben & Gav are real good charachters.

I am certainly well aquainted with the side affects. Also, I would not normally lose weight at 3kgms a week. But in just over two weeks time, I will be meeting up with all the old farts that I shared my early seasons with ~ all pretending that none of these two weeks will be the least bit competitive.
I figure if I can lose 10% of my bodyweight, that will be 10% less force on my dodgy knee. One guy is preparing by cycling round Mexico. Another by walking round New Zealand's South Island. And the women are all desperate to reinstate their body shapes to early 1970 levels..... |

I sense that his exclamation was quite genuine!

I did not recognise that tree area, though. Must be low down?

Cool vid, Pablo. Looking to renew with Cairngorm in a couple of weeks. It's piddling down here just now, hope that means the good stuff, further north.

Seems that all the sponsored Olympians are taken care of, so thats Ok.
That just leaves the issue of where we can get our historical ski info. That used to be a free site, until it was taken over by SnowsportGB. Over the years, I have found that info to be quite useful in planning projects. |

For self catering, the first call should be the Tourist office. They speak English, and normally their brochure and web info is in English.
When my ski buddy and I were granted passouts for a half season some nine years ago, we did a vitual door to door enquiry, until we found exactly the right place. Now, we don't tell anyone the name of it, in case it becomes too popular! We are no longer allowed half seasons, but we do manage 3 to 4 weeks a year. |

Pretty good Tony. - )
Much worse than that, I'm afraid. It's the abstaining from alchohol, potatoes, dairy stuff, and bread. And like Freezywater, I am definitely going to lose my speed advantage over my mates. Maybe, I might be streamlined? |
