Any exciting sailing moments you care to share ellistine?? Must have been a few close calls.

Just the five capsizes on Tuesday night whilst trying to nail gybing at speed with the gennaka up. It's just like skiing (well sort of), every capsize was when turning right. The lefts weren't a problem. I used to have exactly the same issues with the dryslope

This weekend we're on a sort of training/coaching course specific to our class of boat. Absolutely no idea what to expect (appart from rain) but should be a good laugh.

I'm on Vista and IE and all they smilies are happy :D

If you're seeing a red cross instead of a smilie then try putting the pointer on top of it, pressing the right mouse button and then select properties. The Address(URL) should be something like http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum//images/smilies/1069449046bcd664c21db15b1dfedaee.gif

Having said that, is it right that there's two slashes between forum and images Dave?

[The two slashes is fine, but your URL was missing the .gif - fixed for you now, all part of the usual (crap) service. You're welcome, mister happy smiley man... Admin]
What do you listen to when skiing

I think its a bit risky to use whilst actually skiing, as it can't help your sense of awareness as to what's going on around you.

Surely when skiing your listening to Tony shouting 'NEIN!'

Only joking!

Usual question, what's the ski area like and just how wonderful is the town?

We have a range of skiers from complete beginners all the way up to me. Not that big a range then )
