I am glad I am driving!!
I like La Thuile too but you can ski to Canazei but you would have to walk to the lift ..I liked Campitello which is a bit bigger and more modern but then the lifts do get busy in both

Warren Millers lecture and I thought the resort stands really interesting ..I could get some first hand information about the places I will be visiting this season and I could see some of the presents I might get my kids to buy me .. some of the stuff was really nice but so were the prices ..that mohair shirt at £375 was a bit steep but they were selling ..I came by bus which was easy but there could have do with a few signs in the park to say you were heading in the right direction
The whole rant did not make sense...Tripadvisor has 4 pages of reviews of various hotels and I hope they help people make a choice ..usually if you click onthem for a price you get a few booking agents to compare I really dont know what she is talking about..The few times I have visited I have found that the place is overpriced compared to La Tania ..a coffee next to the slopes cost me €8!

I totally agree ..as an older f**t I feel that you have to spend time in the gym doing squats step ups etc at least for 2 or 3 months before you go ..I am a proponant of the 30 minute (non stop 7 exercises done 4 times) workout which I do at least 5 times a week. I am looking forward to at least 3 weeks skiing in Jan/Feb so I want to hit the slopes at least half fit. Try Romanian Split squats for building up the leg muscles
