Lovely sunny, dry and 8c over here. Its not fair I want snow. I was trying to think if in my lifetime I have ever had a white Christmas, the only one I can think of was 1963 when we could not go back to school until end of January. I am sure thats my only one.

I looked on the weather site you said and it all appears to be in Fahrenheit. So 16F = minus 8.89C. May-be thats what you have seen. It would be very strange for Austria to be that hot any when in December, so dont cancel your hols.

Hi Beachboy, are you sure you are reading temps right? I can only look as far as 23rd Dec on the sites I use and they are saying anything from -12 to -16 not 16c, some days -19c.
