Always take the time to look at skiing pics....Well done.
Now all you need to do is tell us all where they are!

Sounds like you need to go back for another chance at the off-piste...It's a big mountain!
You must be back by now.....How did you find it?

The one thing we're all passing by is Peter has only been a couple of times before. So it's safe to assume he's going to be skiing on-piste for a while so he's better to learn on a shorter ski!
Therefor the xwings will do him nicely for a god few trips on-piste!

Have Lessons with a French teacher Peter as they are more inclined to teach you to let the skis run, opposed to a British teacher who will teach you to carve the edges more. You'll get more out of the xwings if you let them run.

I'm 6' and 14.5 stone and started on 150's I've now sold my xwing 170's due to an ACL accident and I'm intending to return on 160's

Take your xwings and try them.....If you dont like them try and partx them at your resort or just hire a pair and sell them when you get back to blighty!

I don't think you'll have any problems. They are great skis....just remember they are stiff and don't like to run flat....keep them very slightly on the edges when your running straight on piste.
One more thing to remember.... they turn really tightly!

I'm a big fan of LDA been many times. If your not skiing blacks off the mountain the easy solution to miss out the green goat track, ski to La Crete and take the egg down....easy as that!

If you need any info let me know.

Enjoy!!

Quick word of warning.

Having recently been forced to cut my skiing trip short!
I have discovered that if you have booked your lift pass online and try to reedeam your lost days at the resort...forget it!

So in short....well...ish!

1. Pay online and you cut short, your left tiring to claim on your insurance!
So....
Pay on line and take out their insurance to cover any lost days....sorted!
Or....
Pay at the resort....even more sorted!

Happy skiing
