What a nice thought....No one else's feet have been in your boots!
Now don't put them in their very special bag in the cupboard.....Potter around the house in them for an hour and start to break them in....looks a little odd when someone comes to the door though!! Do this a few times before you put the boots away. Repeat the process before you go skiing next time then your feet and boots should be happy together! H. |

I'm thinking about sending the order for my new combo of Palmers and keebindings....hmmm I'll have a read first!
I guess every product has teething problems but I dont want any hassle when i return to skiing. It'll be nerve racking enough! I'm in touch with the company so I'll be asking questions! Hopefully they have Ironed out the problems because to have the 'piece of mind' that this binding offers is a big thing! I am in no rush as i still have another month of rehab and cant ski till 2011 Cheers H. |

Thanks Ally,
I was already on Volterol so that helped! Oddly enough the ride in the blood wagon was a blast and straight down with no turns! Cant wait to get back on the slopes :D H. |

I Can speak from first hand experience on this topic...
Having snapped my ACL in January on day 4 of a 12 day hoilday I wish I had known about Kneebindings before! I was skiing on XWings on an unpisted red, not moving too quickly started a left turn and at the moment of weight transfer caught an edge. I heard a crack In my right knee and felt my knee joint pop out and back in....oh then out again! Ouch!! Blood wagon, helicopter, doctors, insurance company's ete etc. Prof David Barrett has now reconstructed my ACL and did a bit of house work to my knee whilst he was poking about. I am now going to physio 5 days a week and can start driving from 7th April! I am hoping to return to work around the end of April...Yahoo I am going to miss my season of water skiing, trekking and my planed trips up Mont Blanc and Ben Nevis. I return to skiing in January 2011 and will skiing on kneebindings and suggest to those of you that own your skis to fit a pair too... Good luck everybody Huard. |

Your own boots...Best thing you can buy!
Don't be rushed, you can expect to spend 2 or 3 hours in the shop. once you've found the pair you like walk around the shop for 15mins. The boot fitter shouldn't rush you....It's your feet that will suffer not his/hers! Good luck H. |
