What are you doing sitting in La Clusaz? Isn't there anything else you could be doing?
What age to start?

Good question. As stated before I think it depends on who is doing the teaching. My little girl aged 4 went to an ESF kindergarten type thing this year and hated it. I think though that the teachers generally had a rubbish attitude to the kids and of course they pick up on it.
However my neice also was with ESF (aged 5) and she got on really well and was skiing blue runs by the end of the week.
I think also at 4 maybe the legs aren't quite up to it.......
Saw ski sunday yesterday and was interested in Kranjska Gora. Looking for somewhere to maybe buy a place and the idea crossed my mind. Anyway, has anybody ever been here or know of anybody who has?

I would say the higher the resort the better. What about avoriaz? 1,800 metres at resort level. Surely theat would be a good bet!?!
My daughter was also in the snow garden and also got her flocon badge. Maisie did the aftermnoon session from 2.45 till 5.00. Maybe the two of them were in the same class!!!!

Lovely snow on Valentines day wasn't it? Shame it had to be followed by the day of rain. But never mind.

Everyone I speak to who has visited Les Gets has totally fallen in love with the place. I can see why. Don't know about you guys but when we skiied over to Morzine it just looks so dark and depressing?! Certainly not as vibrant as Les Gets.....

Here's to next year, or maybe a sneaky weekend towards the end of the season!
Sam

Just got back from Les Gets. I am glad that all of our dancing paid off as you obviously had a wondefull time and we sure did. A few mornings of rain but lots of snow and the last 4 days were wall to wall blue skys.

Amazing about your daughter and the Chavannes Blue Run. Amazing how quick they pick it up isn't it.

Did you do the Arbis Red run down from the Chomissiere? That has to be my favourite run of all....

Thanks Admin Man. Any updates on the forecasts or do they only come once a week. I'm still suffering from Forecastitous!
Plenty of room on the fun bus!! We hire out what's called a splitter van each year. A splitter bus is a van for the music industry (bands and the like) with the back 5 foot boarded off for drum kits, amps (and ski's) and the rest with seats and tables.....

Inside you have 10 seats with dual plasma screens and PS2. Perfect for a long drive.

I am in the process of building a site for these guys to advertise their vans to us lot as well as the bands.

Thanks for the info on the ski passes I had a bit of a moment!
