I'm pretty sure there are a number of sites in the Tarentaise area.
One on the road from Moutiers to Brides Les Baines - to serve the Three Valleys.
Then Aime - for la Plagne
Bourg St Maurice for Les Arcs
and There used to be a campsite in Tignes Les Brevieres (lowest part of Espace Killy for Tignes and Val D'Isere).

I think you could have a wonderful time!
Especially March/April as the valley temperature where campsites tend to be (I think?) warm up so much quicker than up the hill.
The key for me would be can I get to a ski lift easily from where i am parked up?

But you have picked a resort with an excellent chance of something nice to ski on so I expect all will be well when you get there - maybe not a "classic" week for the snow but, hey ho !!
