I would suggest there is more knee action in skiing, a lot of people with knee injuries end up snowboarding when their ski 'career' comes to an end.

I bet you 95% of ski injuries are knee related too, I am not going to buy knee braces :wink:
I would not want the rigidity of braces in my wrists and they can actually do some damage depending on how you fall. I learned to snowboard, just turned up in all my skiing gear and went for it. Good fun! |

I would stick a tenner on the fact you are at more risk of sustaining a knee injury through skiing than snowboarding.

Not sure but that is very early for the Ice Coast. Chances are the skiing will be largely on man made snow and it will be bitterly cold!
