Someone elsewhere on the internets suggested the Armada ARV, have you considered it? There are plenty others out there notably cheap offerings from Line.

I would suggest the AR6's are available from 'Freeze' in Edinburgh, they stock a few different skis including the 4FRNT STL which is another to add to your list!

I ski my ARVs almost all the time....

In reality a good instructor for an 'advanced' group will help you pick up mogul skiing pretty quickly as there are a number of easy tactics you can use.

I wouldn't be too concerned as they would not have suggested that you were to go to the 'advanced' group if you were not good enough, the chances are that the rest of the group will be in the same situation as you.

I stayed in a catered chalet for the first time this year, we booked privately through the chalet but this is as I understand it; You can fill it yourself or you can share with 'strangers' but there is a pretty social atmosphere, generally everyone sits down together to enjoy the unlimited wine and beer 8)

The one we stayed at does a separate meal altogether for the kids and you can outline 'dietary requirements' when you book.. our guys were awesome and we happened to be the only people staying there so it was quite easy for them to cater to 'our' needs.

I have only stayed once in a half board type place and it was a buffet type thing, would not go for it again... ever. In all fairness it was just adding to my terrible experience of Andorra in general.

Not much that isn't Canadian which is a pain in the ar*e due to my want for a few bits and pieces of gear which I am in the process fo trying to get off the BASI deal but the person doing it isn't so keen any more.

That would make a whole lot of sense... they talk rubbish but have good deals!
