Asked about compen. She almost laughed, said if you look in the small print!!!!! The final insult was telling us if we took a refund she would be unable to refund the sum they charged us for paying with a credit credit card think it was about £40......stuffed all round.

Just checked my tour ops policy...£40 compensation/per person within 2-4 weeks cancellation. Do look in the small print, change of airport is def "significant change".

Have you tried calling other tour ops to see if they have flight only options..they might if they need to get bums on seats.

What's your budget? I'm sure the lovely people on here can guide you to a good deal. My Tour op sent an offer £770 half board chalet hotel for La Plagne on those dates (and out of Manchester).
Good luck.

err, I've got options to either like "yes" or "no". Do the "no's" get ignored?

Just tested that - all I saw was that when I pressed NO - the like/rating button disapeared for me on the thread.

Now that is a very good scheme....I can now vent my anger and put a "no likey" vote to everyone and nobody will ever know.

Edit: AllyG had "Top Post" 2 votes. I tested a "no" vote and it has been ignored and my voting rights have been taken away. :(

Four years ago, I was in 3V first week in March...we had a massive downfall.

Booked the same again this year, have faith!
