Thanks for good news

Please keep us updated :!:

Thanks

That is what we need, exactly )
Good food and coffee.
Will check it out on our first day of skiing which should be 15 January.
Would you remember if it was a run down from Plateau Rosa or Theodul Pass as there are 2 border crossings from Zermatt?

Kind regards,
MattSki_score wrote:I looked into this for new year and decided that Cervina was the better option and the money I saved has paid for mine and and girfriends new ski boots   also flying from Donacster Airport was a massive advantage (20 minutes away).

I really can't wait now and already doing the Mrs's head by looking at the Snow forcast everyday!!

Hi Matt,

We had the same dilemma and just booked a week in Cervinia :)
I will probably get International ski pass and spend some time on Zermatt's slopes.
However We DO like Italian food and coffee )
And a day trip to Pila is supposed to be special!

I am sure we will enjoy it :!:

Good news as we just booked our January trip there
Is there a frequent ski bus service between Cervinia and Valtourneche?
What are the best mountain eateries?
Best Apres-ski venues?

Cheers,

Josh.

Thank you Josh
It's going to be Cervinia/Zermatt this January :)
I could not bear poor snow conditions for the second season running and so far it does not look too good in Dolomites
At least in Cervinia/Zermatt they have got 4 glaciers.
However I'd love to ski Marmolada in future.
Perhaps next time round, in March if we are lucky.

Thank you everyone for your participation :!:

As long as they are speedway teams )
No. I'm not keen on paying £20 to have gravel thrown in my eye.

Tony,

You can always wear ski goggles :)
My "local" team won the country championship + 2 of it's riders were individual World champion and a Runner up this season.

It IS good fun, comes second only to skiing :!:

Hi,

I read on italian website Dolomiti that new 3-stage gondola link between Madonna Di Campiglio and Pinzolo is due to open this Christmas
Do you think it is going to happen?
If so would this skiing area become one of the best in Italy?

Cheers,
