Been a while since I was in Sauze so this may be outdated BUT

the slopes were not the problem for us - some of the l;ifts were horribly old and slow

I think much of this was sorted for the Turin Olympics but worth checking the piste map carefully for the dreaded "single chair"

But its a great area and you'll enjoy it loads

Avante!
Happy Christmas

Ive seen the drag lift up to it open once (though it may have only be serving the black run on the same side (which has also gone form the map) rather than the Tunnel piste

Ive never done it and don't feel that I'm missing anything judging by the clip I saw on YouTube

The new entrance to the red alongside the Face will be on my list though and may be intrigued to see what the tobogganing is all about down by the nursery lifts.

So, if I'm using my special new glasses cleaning piste map, I might be rather a long time trying to find the Tunnel piste and lift

I think it was gone last year too but still on the map - the lift was never running when I passed

If you look on YouTube you can see people doing the run and you'll soon conclude you're not missing anything!!!!!

Apart from the change to Face and the entry to the red alongside it mentioned before:

Tunnel piste and the lift to it are gone (were rarely open)

New Fontaine Froid chair (replacement rather than new)

There's a toboggan run marked in Val village by the nursery slopes that I don't remember seeing before?
Yet more sad news around the sport that we all love so much

I do hope that people are being as safe as they can be as the number of incidents seems to be very high at the moment (the heavy falls obviously making the snow pack v unstable)

Obviously I feel sick for this guy and his family but we should all be considering, too, the people who put themselves in harm's way to go to the rescue

Please stay safe my friends

It was not intentional, but the one I declined was in fact a skier - but also a sponger (is maternity leave classed as sponging?!) However, she was the better looking of the 2

The other one is already in a job and will be getting a 15% pay rise to come and work here

Icy Icy Icy - I fear the Political Correctness/Equality/HR police will be after you for that one (I get away with it cos Mrs O is a HR director and rolls her eyes at such nonsense)

I once interviewed someone who put "part time model" on her CV so I was intrigued. Turned out she was a "hand model" for the local art college still life :x

I offered a job to a girl to start in January - great Christmas present

I had to tell another girl that she did not get the job - not so good Christmas present

Do you have to consider the important employment requirement: Is this person a skiier? - thus will they want to book a week off that clashes with my own?

NEVER recruit those ones that might cause you issues with your own snow time.....

Good on you for lowering the benefit sponger count by one though
