Trees!
I agree, i felt awful in an andorran whiteout...in fact it forced me off the mountain.
I won't book a ski holiday to a resort with tree lined runs for this reason.

Just a quickie really.

Why is this site called J2Ski ?

Just wondering what the J and 2 mean.

Ta muchly.
Ditto on the boots, wait till the feet stop growing and settle into adulthood.
As for skis, personally i don't see the need to buy ever...renting is cheap, easy and avoids you carrying them to and from resort.

Having said that if i were regularly driving to resorts (esp scotland) i may consider my own but not right now.

A nice pair of wellies should do the trick!

Anyway, Arnaud has given you the definitive answer from Skiset, J2ski's ski rental of choice. And a very good outfit they are too.

Well, i understand that we all will have to leave them unattended at some point so i suppose i should have said that i would be surprised if they were covered if left 'unsecured'.
I also understand that there are precious little secure places on the mountain but having experienced the dark side of insurers in other fields i do wonder why they would be different with Ski gear.

Well, i would be very surprised if any insurers would cover you if you left them unattended.
Thats such an easy get out for them.
